This course explored the economics, design, and equity impacts of mass transit systems across the U.S. Emphasis was placed on fare policy, cost-benefit modeling, ridership elasticity, operational efficiency, and capital investment strategies. Weekly assignments included both real-world case studies and quantitative analysis, using agencies such as WMATA, SRTC, and California HSR as focal points.
